SACO representatives Tim Barber (Vice Chair), Andy Johnson (Secretary) and Colin Wetherley-Mein (Appointment Officer) were invited along to the opening of the new pavilion and facilities at Allscott last Friday.
Chair Jay Allen kindly gave us a guided tour of the new facilities, including not ONE but TWO large officials changing rooms and of course we had to test out the bar area with a drink or two.
Allscott have been very kind in the past to our SACO allowing us to use their facilities for meetings and training events and SACO wanted to mark the opening of the new pavilion by presenting a commemorative engraved glass plaque.
We at SACO look forward to continuing our excellent partnership with Allsoctt moving forwards.

Training Courses Update

Electronic Scoring Course now ‘CONFIRMED’ – 2024 Season will require Division One teams to use PCS Pro ‘live scoring’, so it is great that SACO can confirm that a one-day workshop has been arranged for 3rd March 9.30am to 4.30pm at Shrewsbury CC. New ECB Umpire Course - SACO’s very own Tim Barber has confirmed that the ‘new’ ECB umpire foundation training course (former stage 1 replacement) will take place on Sunday 128th February at Ercall Wood Academy in Wellington. Details on how to book will be made available very soon.
